How to improve the quality of high-voltage motors through coil quality control

More often, if the motor fails, the customer will think it is the quality of the motor manufacturing, while the motor manufacturer will think it is the improper use of the customer. . From the manufacturing point of view, manufacturers study and discuss from the manufacturing process control and technology, so as to avoid some human factors.

The most tedious part of making a high-voltage motor is the production process of the coil. Different voltage levels require different processing techniques for the coil. The 6kV high-voltage motor coil should be wrapped with mica tape to 6 layers, and the 10kV motor coil should be wrapped to 8 layers. Layer after layer, including the requirements of stacking, it is really not easy to do well; in order to meet the requirements of high quality and efficiency, most high-voltage motor manufacturers use automatic or semi-automatic mechanical wrapping methods, and mechanized production improves work efficiency. At the same time, the problems of the tightness of the wrapping and the consistency of the stacking are realized.

However, no matter it is automatic or semi-automatic machinery, most domestic manufacturers can only realize the wrapping of the straight edge and the oblique edge of the coil, and the nose end of the coil still needs to be wrapped manually. In fact, the consistency of mechanical wrapping and manual wrapping is not easy to grasp, especially for the wrapping of the coil nose, which is a key part to test the quality of the motor.

The strength of the coil wrapping process is very important. If the force is too large, the mica tape will break. If the force is too small, the wrapping will become loose, resulting in air inside the coil. Uneven force will affect the appearance and electrical performance of the coil. Mechanized wrapping is more favored by motor manufacturers.

Another problem to be emphasized in the process of coil wrapping is the quality of the mica tape. Some mica tapes will have a large amount of mica powder falling off during use, which is extremely unfavorable to the quality assurance of the coil. Therefore, it is necessary to choose materials with stable quality. To ensure the final quality of the motor.

At present, the work lights and running lights of machine tools all use low-voltage transformers to provide 36V safe voltage. Because the lamps are often moved during use, short-circuit faults are very likely to occur, resulting in blown fuses or even burnt out transformers. If you use a 36V small intermediate relay or a 36V AC contactor as the on-off switch of the transformer, you can avoid burning out the transformer.
