In the actual standard implementation process, there may be some numerical contradictions between the technical conditions of motor products and the mandatory standards, and the regulation of efficiency indicators. The reason for this result lies more in the issue date of the technical conditions of motor products and the time crossing with the requirements of the mandatory standards. When encountering such problems, the actual energy efficiency of motor products should be improved on the premise of meeting the requirements of mandatory standards, that is, the control should be carried out on the premise of meeting high efficiency, and the principle of high but not low should be adopted.
Recently, in the supervision and spot check of electric motors in Guizhou Province, it is obviously inappropriate to judge the qualification only according to the technical conditions of products, while ignoring the requirements of mandatory standards.
In October, 2022, the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology published 14 motor standards, of which 8 standards were revised. The naming of motors in some standards has incorporated the requirements for motor energy efficiency, that is, it is in line with IE standards. In addition to the published mandatory requirements for motor efficiency, the energy efficiency of other motors is gradually being controlled, that is, the efficiency improvement of motors is stipulated through the agreement of technical conditions. For example, the technical specifications of YE2 series (IP23) three-phase asynchronous motors and YE2-W and YE2-WF series outdoor and outdoor chemical corrosion-resistant three-phase asynchronous motors require that the efficiency of such motors should reach IE2 energy efficiency level.
From the perspective of long-term development, improving motor efficiency is the historical mission of motor manufacturers and an effective way to open up the motor market. Although there are some good and bad things in the motor market at present, the relevant departments will further eliminate the market through some effective control measures, and standardize the fairness of motor producers and users.
